Welcome to the website of the Nanoscale Materials Lab, directed by Prof. Shouheng Sun of the Chemistry Department at Brown University in Rhode Island. Our research in nanomaterials involves two related areas: (1) chemical synthesis and self-assembly of nanoparticles; (2) construction and elaboration of functional nanoparticles and their assemblies for applications in bio-medicine, catalysis, and composite nanostructures.
